Amsler knives Bottle breaker tool

Brought back by popular demand, this is a remake of my earlier keychain knife design.. The BDT V2 Incorporates the same dimensions as the previous model as well as the same bottle opener functionality..

Also included in this listing is my kiri key keychain knife intended for neck or keychain carry or used as a craft knife.

I left the raw steel texture on the flats. It looks cool and should provide for better grip and wear over a smooth polished surface.. No two knife finishes are a like because of this.. Some may have marks and lines on the flats consistent with a factory raw steel texture..

 

The intended use of these tools is for everyday carry and for use at home or work for daily tasks !! A wide range of people use my blades daily for craft, leather work, letter opener, everyday tasks, mycology, forestry as well as collecting.

Bottle breaker:

This version incorporates 1/8" thick S35vn steel. After grinding I send them to the leader of heat treating in america Paul BOS heat treat to get hardened. They have been know for many years as the authority on heat treating blade steel.. The edge is taken to a polished razor sharp finish using a leather wheel. I spend a lot of time perfecting the sheaths so that they have tight retention. That way these knives can hold up to being connected to a keychain. They will be tight but the purpose is to grab the keys first for fast deployment.
