Kiri Key
Kiri Key
The intended use of these tools is for everyday carry and for use at home or work for daily tasks !! A wide range of people use my blades daily for craft, leather work, letter opener, everyday tasks, mycology, forestry as well as collecting.
I would consider the blade to be an off shoot of the hurricane razor design with a stubby profile.. The edge is double flat ground and the tip has been widened and flattened for thickness and usability in picking poking and light prying.. The grind is similar to a tanto but the break from the belly and tip has been rounded a bit to lessen the sharp angle change that is common a normal tanto. This grind style allows to have belly that is steep and sharp with a tip that is thick and robust..
To wrap these I used a 3/32" 95 paracord.
In the options I have included different colors of cord to choose from to wrap the blade.. If you would prefer it unwrapped please specify that in a note at purchase..
Included with every knife is extra cord and two lanyard bead chains.. The beaded chains are in gunmetal and regular nickel coated.. Surprisingly I was able to find a USA made supplier of the beaded chains and the quality is the best I've found so far.
